I am an AI Engineer at Fineco Bank, working on Large Language Models for the financial domain, with a focus on post-training and retrieval-augmented reasoning. My responsabilites also include scalable and robust deployment of AI-powered banking applications.

I hold a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. I worked within the AImageLab research group, under the supervision of Prof. Rita Cucchiara.

My research focused on HVA Human Visual Attention, and in particular on Scanpath Prediction and Task-Oriented Visual Search, with a specific focus on the integration of vision and language modalities for the understanding of human gaze behavior.

Previously, I received my Master’s Degree cum laude with a thesis entitled “Deep Reinforcement Learning Methods for Filling Machines Control: A Blueprint for Industry 4.0”, developed during an internship period at Tetra Pak, Modena 🇮🇹.
